This notice covers the public beta and waitlist form. A request is separate from a Cohort parent account. Updated 6 November 2026.
What we collect
Your email address, request choice, consent, verification and review status. We do not ask for child details, school records or mailbox access in this form.
Why we use it
To verify that you control the address, review your request and contact you about access. This is not a marketing subscription. No request is sent for AI processing.
Storage and access
Email addresses are encrypted in the Test database. Authorised operators review requests behind GitHub sign-in and authenticator verification. Resend delivers the verification email. The service and database run on DigitalOcean and Supabase. These providers process the information needed to operate the service.
We keep keyed, non-readable fingerprints for duplicate and abuse checks. Network connection addresses are used to derive rate-limit fingerprints; they are not shown to operators in this queue. There are no advertising trackers on this page.
Retention and withdrawal
Verification codes expire after 10 minutes. Unverified challenge records are deleted after 24 hours. Interest records expire after 180 days without an update. Verified withdrawal removes the readable email and cancels pending challenges; a non-readable withdrawal marker may remain for 30 days and operator audit records for up to 180 days. Backup copies may persist under the Test recovery arrangements.
